Bengbu Hongye Meat Processing Co., Ltd., formerly known as Bengbu Meat Factory, was founded in the 1950s as one of the 156 key Soviet-aided projects under China’s First Five-Year Plan. After restructuring in 2000, it was officially registered in March 2001. Located at 76 Fengyang East Road, Longzi Lake District, Bengbu, the company is a provincial-level leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization and a national high-tech enterprise, with nearly 300 employees. Its core businesses cover automated pig slaughtering, canned meat production, cold chain logistics, prepared and frozen food, supported by cold storage and special railway lines. It is equipped with an automated slaughter line capable of processing 6,000 pigs per day and is a designated pork export enterprise in Anhui Province. The company has three large cold storages with a total capacity of 20,000 tons, and has maintained a AAA credit rating.
