Guangzhou Baiyun Noodle Co., Ltd. is affiliated with Guangzhou Lingnan Group and Guangzhou Grain Group. It is the only state-owned enterprise engaged in noodle products manufacturing in Guangzhou, undertaking the social responsibility of emergency supply for government-regulated grain, oil and noodle necessities. Founded in 1915 as Hong Kong Noodle Company, it was reorganized and established in 1996 with the approval of the former Guangzhou Grain Bureau. Located in Baiyun District, Guangzhou, the company covers an area of about 17,411 square meters. Adhering to the philosophy of “Making a bowl of fine noodles for over a century”, it inherits Lingnan flavor and craftsmanship. It has been honored as a National Model Grain and Oil Processing Enterprise, a Guangzhou Time-honored Brand, a Guangdong Time-honored Brand, and its Cantonese-style noodle making technique is a district-level intangible cultural heritage.
